And if so, will they still want to pursue a relationship when they each know what the other looks like?Hosted by celebrity model and 2008's Miss Universe Australia, Laura Dundovic, Dating In The Dark combines cheeky voyeurism with irresistible insights into how human relationships really work.
After several days of meeting others in the darkroom, the participants select the one member of the opposite sex that they want to see revealed in the light.
For the first time, the participants see whom they’ve been dating. After they’ve finally seen each other in the light for the first time, they each have to make a difficult decision.
Do they want to get to know each other even better, or do they walk away?
In each episode, three single men and three single women move into a house together.
They’re totally sequestered from the opposite sex but are all looking for love.
While they have no chance of seeing each other in the light, they do have the opportunity to date in a completely dark room.
Looks are taken out of the equation as the men and women get to know each other and form bonds in total darkness. And, to complete the picture, they also get a clue about each other outside the darkroom: photos of their homes, or being able to check out their luggage — anything that conveys information about the single.
Series Finale: Episode 12 Billy Jeffrey, an outrageous Chippendale dancer and season one contestant, joins two other men and three women on a search for love in the darkroom.
In this unique reality show, three men and three women are picked to live in a house shrouded in total darkness and tasked with undergoing various dating activities.
Cameras catch all the action using night-vision technology.
At the end of each episode contestants get a chance to see each other in the light of day, and decide whether or not to pursue their relationship.
