Lalaine Vergara-Paras (born June 3, 1987), also known as Lalaine, is a Filipino American actress, singer-songwriter and writer.She is perhaps best known for her role as Miranda Sanchez in the Disney Channel series Lizzie Mc Guire, which aired from 2001 to 2004. She was a member of the band Vanity Theft from 2010 to 2011.
[July 2003]Lalaine is the youngest of four siblings, Marian, Francisco and Cristina, she also has two nephews and a niece.
She resided in the Philippines from 1990 till 1995.
Her sister Cristina had to beg her Mom to drive her to her singing coach for vocal training in 1997, which she paid for in three months.
It was then that Lalaine was discovered and performed as Little Cosette in "Les Miserables" Broadway Production for almost a year. I am more of a tomboy when dressing up and I have never worn pink in my entire life. My shoe collection is composed mostly of Chucks and a few pairs of girly ones.
The pilot episode was shot, but the series was never picked up.
